Our process
How do we choose our picks?
We don’t lab-test products ourselves. Instead we synthesise current Amazon UK listings and published specs into clear, honest recommendations. We earn a commission if you buy through our links, but that never changes which products we rank.
Current UK availability
We check each pick against live Amazon UK catalogue data rather than last year’s model lists. Stock moves fast, so a listing can sell out after we publish.
Published specs
We compare manufacturer specifications so each pick is right for a real budget and use-case.
UK-specific fit
We factor in UK voltage and plug/fitting standards — details that generic global lists miss.

Editor's Note
Two of the six listings, the Trust Primo and the Targus, state a warranty term. The TECOOL title says waterproof while its feature list says water-resistant polyester, the MATEIN uses both words, and none of the six gives a water-resistance rating. The Shavont and Kono listings do not name the bag's material.
Our Take
The TECOOL is the default pick for a 15 to 16 inch laptop, with stated dimensions, 600D water-resistant polyester and EVA plus foam padding. Choose the Trust Primo for a 5-year manufacturer warranty, or the Kono backpack for a removable combination lock and a USB charging port.
